Another crazy trip = Bau

Had another hunch and hey, this time both of us went to BAU. Hahahahah.. Nononono, we did not went to Fairy Cave nor Wind Cave. We just went to the town. Bao Bei asked, "anything to see there?" and I answered, "Shopslots." and he was like...."we're going there to see shoplots? hahaha..ok."

So, we went to 7th Mile by van and had my brunch there. I had kueh chap at the first floor of the market there and it wasn't bad at all. The kueh chap has a bit of touch of bak kut teh + kueh chap but the taste was well blended. I like it. First time after had a lot of kueh chap that I finished the soup! Yay~! Found something I like there! hehehe.. and the kolo mee, I like it too! (Probably cos I didn't have real food besides bread+butter+raisins and crackers only for the last 2 weeks because of the condition of my teeth)

Then, we went to wait for bus to BAU. No. 2 bus arrived and we hoped on it. The driver looked like he had a bad day or something. Well, he sorta was in a bad mood and I did not wanna mess with him tat time so I didn't ask him any questions. hohohohoho... It's coz I was wondering if there is any bus going to Fairy Caves and Wind Caves. We passed by Siniawan on the way and the shop houses were really old and made of wood. Bao Bei wanted to drop by so we did after we went to Bau.

What we did at Bau? Well, we walked walked walked and then, we saw something magnificent. It was wonderful. It's a place called Tasik Biru (Blue Lake). When we wanted to walk there, I was tired and didn't have the mood to go but I forced myself to go and I'm GLAD that I did. I told Bao Bei "if the tasik not biru but brown, I'll hit them" and it IS BLUE! hehhee..my first time seeing something so beautiful.

Market First Floor. Poh Fa, kueh chap stall.

The Kueh Chap I had. Funny tat d belacan was d belacan for laksa. She wasn't even selling laksa. the drink was Jagung Peng.

JJ ordered kolo mee even though he wasn't very hungry cos I felt like eating it. Hahah... I had about 2 mouthful and it was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! He ordered Soy Milk and it was delicious as well!

Bau's Monument. Hahaha.. This is the place where they used to mine gold long before my time.

We went to one of the temples and they had this huge gourd! That was the main attraction of that particular small temple! at least for both JJ and I.

Welcome to Tasik Biru (Blue Lake).

It was really BLUE!!

Time to Pose.

He liked it very much!

See what a blue lake does to a normal guy? Insanity!

It's so crystal clear that you can even see what they throw inside!
Tasik Biru, a great place for dating or just to relax your mind. The breeze was really refreshing. We sat on one of the benches there under a tree and it felt like we have no more exam but sadly, we still have one more paper to go. hahahah..

We saw a staircase up to somewhere and we went to see what it was and it turned out to be the back door for a temple. One of which JJ wanted to visit when he first saw it.
The back door.

When we were on the way to the bus station, we saw this dog. It looks similar like my dog at home WILLiAM but this one is fatter and shorter.

Went to a bakery and bought this orange sponge cake. It tastes delicious! Even better than the sponge cake from Secret Recipe! The spongecake was not as dry as the ones I had at Secret Recipe and the cream is just nice, not that thick till it gets dry easily. NICE! The name of the bakery is Blueberry Cake House. Don't forget to visit it when you're at Bau! Nyam Nyam! Ate on the Bus. Next post is about Siniawan that I always hear about from Fabian last time. =)
