Wait a minute, Where's THAILAND??? Ain't it a tourist attraction in Thailand that they have the best looking prostitutes and that they have a lot of them with cheap prices???

Well, the FACT is, Prostitution is ILLEGAL in THAiLAnd. Well, at least, it's just illegal officially, not in practice, though. That's why, it seems legal when it's actually not. Therefore, the officials didn't give a damn even though it's widely known by the world. Guess why. C'mon, guess guess guess. It's because..........it's beneficiary to the country! YES!! You got it right! It increases the income of the tourism sector. The country earns a lot from there, you know. And they go "Baht baht baht baht baht" everywhere. Hahahaha...

And if you notice, Iran is in the list too! According to this page that I got from the Internet (where I got all the info from), prostitution is SORT OF legal there. Ever heard of "temporary marriages"? Or it's more widely known as SIGHEH or in malay, Perkahwinan mutia. A couple can get married as short as one hour only or as long as 99 years. Depending on their agreement. Therefore, a guy can use this to get hooked on some hookers. But if a gal is still a virgin, they need their father's approval. If not, they can just show their marriage certificate. Since one prostitute can get married over and over again, therefore, they'll have tones of marriage certificates!!

Disadvantages of Prostitution

1. Unplanned pregnancy
2. Abortion which may harm the body of the mother
   
3. Wide transmission of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) such as Herpes , HIV, Syphilis and etc.
4. The baby will not know who the father is (as for Sigheh, they can track down d father of the child n the father must take responsibility on the child. But it would cause a lot of hassle. It's another disadvantage of Sigheh)
5. They might get killed in London!!!
6. Get looked down on by the society
7. Being down-graded (some ppl doesn't recognize prostitution as a profession)
8. Sigheh women will not get married permanently as no one wants a divorcee to be their wives. They will either be the 2nd, 3rd or 4th wives n will nvr be the 1st.

Advantages of Prostitution

1. The uneducated women who can do nothing will be able to survive by providing their services.
2. These women can contribute to the nation's economy.
3. These women will be able to look after their own life without having to rely on someone else (it's still a job that requires sweat n blood)
4. Man will be able to reduce their desire for sexual relationship by looking for these prostitutes and RAPE cases can be reduced.
