Lovely Complex

Have just finished watching Lovely Complex last week. It was up until Ep. 24.

Two classmates, since First Year untill their Third Year in their highschool, they were in the same class. It happens that they are some sort of best friends. Koizumi Risa (gal) and Otani Atsushi (guy). They sit next to each other in all those years. And they are the class monitors too. The guy is 156cm but the girl is 172cm. So, they always tease each other as Amazon and Shorty. They love to do the same things and enjoy the same singer (UMIBOZU).

In Second Year, the girl fall for the guy but the guy rejected her because of heights problem. Then, she was rejected again twice. She confessed to the guy on her birthday but they guy thought she was kidding. Then, on her Third Year birthday, the guy accepted her. It was so romantic that I was even touched by the anime.

Well, being together is just a beginning. That was my thought all these while watching the anime because I know that after being together, things could turn out ugly. Well, this anime tells the story after being together. The guy used an excuse that the girl was cheating on him as apart of the reason to break up with her. But the REAL reason was that he had to study as the College Entering Exam is around the corner and the guy had to concentrate on his studies. Well, it seems that he worried about her too much that he couldn't concentrate. Then, a few days later during Christmas, they went to look for each other (-by fate-anime wat) and he hugged her and told her that he takes back everything that he said about breaking up because he loves the girl more than he thought he had.

The movie ends by showing them on Graduation Day (all of the 3rd year assembling in the hall) and both of them had to give speech cos they were late for school. It was lovely as I cried. Thanks a lot to the background music that made me feel that way. lol. Hey, I wonder why we did not have the hall assembling thing going on. Made me feel jealous. Oh yea, at the final end, they were leaving the gates of the school waving to a pondan that looks a lot like a cute girl who also likes Otani-kun named Seiko-chan.

Self-Talk:
The movie indirectly reflects myself just that I was not as lucky as Koizumi Risa-chan. In the anime, they even said that they couldn't make do without each other. That wasn't the case for me though. I could make do without him and he could make do without me. I mean, well, we could control our life even when we're not together anymore. There were no grieving, no crying, no nothing. Just memories. Memories of the past. Yesterday, I deleted a blog that was meant to be an Anniversary present. It contained all the sms(s) that we sent to each other. I saved them and wrote them down, even typed them in the blog at the same time. The blog's name was Unforgettable Messages or something like that. It stayed not updated for more than a year and I saved it cos i I thought I might look back at it and smile. But after I smiled, I'd feel a little pinch of sadness. Therefore, I told myself that there's no reason to look back anymore and I deleted the blog. Probably stupid but it won't hurt anyone because I did not made the blog visible to anyone unless they type out the blog url in the address bar. No one ever visited the blog or saw it anyway. Lol...

I've moved on. Probably would flash back once in a while (which is healthy) but will never want to go back anymore cos it's in the past and we can never turn back time. Things might be bad in the past, we can never turn back the time and undo our mistakes but we can make things better in the present and in the future. So move on people.
